Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) president and CEO Fritzi Woods was recently recognized as an honoree of Dallas Business Journal’s 2013 Outstanding Directors Award. The Outstanding Directors Award program operates in conjunction with the National Association of Corporate Directors and is sponsored by Ernst & Young. The program honors directors from Dallas-based nonprofits and public and private companies.

Woods will receive the award for her work with Lone Star Growth Capital LP / Lone Star New Markets LP, where she is a member of the Board of Directors. Woods was selected for the award after a nomination process and a selection process by a panel of judges. She will accept the honor May 30 at a special recognition dinner held at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas.

The WFF is a leadership development organization with more than 20 years of experience advancing women in the foodservice industry. WFF serves thousands of individuals and hundreds of employers in all segments of the industry, including operations, manufacturing, distribution, publishing, consulting, and more.
