Wienerschnitzel is opening four new “Heritage” restaurants this month as the popular chain begins a season of accelerated growth.

In fact, the four new state-of-art Heritage stores—in Espanola and Los Lunas, N.M., and Lufkin and Nederland, Texas—make July 2018 one of the best months for new construction openings in recent history.  What’s more, the Espanola restaurant is the first in the company to develop the revolutionary Heritage “Plus” design, boasting inside dining to the traditional ‘Heritage’ prototype. The new inclusive dining with drive-thru, and outside patio seating all fit on the same footprint as the standard Heritage model to maximize customer access and service.

Craig Wood of RIOT, LLC, broke ground on the Espanola site in January and is honored to premiere the groundbreaking new free-standing restaurant concept to the world.

“The closest Wienerschnitzel to Espanola is 90 miles away in Albuquerque – so we’re delighted to introduce locals to both the world’s best hot dogs and the world’s best-looking hot dog restaurant,” says Woods. “My passion for Wienerschnitzel has only just begun.”

“Craig has the drive and entrepreneurial spirit you need to be a truly successful Wienerschnitzel partner and franchisee,” adds Ted Milburn, director of franchise development for Wienerschnitzel. “He and his wife Monica are pioneers that we’re delighted to welcome into the Wienerschnitzel family.”

Wood steps into the Wienerschnitzel business after serving as director of development at Lotaburger for 23 years. He will host a grand opening in Espanola later this month and plans additional restaurants in the area.

The new Espanola Wienerschnitzel is at 601 Silky Road and joins a second New Mexico restaurant opening this month at 1433 Main St. SW in Los Lunas.  The two locations become the tenth and 11th restaurants in the state, respectively.

The two new eastern Texas Wienerschnitzels are at 101 N. Brentwood Drive in Lufkin and 3620 Nederland Ave. in Nederland and bring the company’s total number of restaurants in the Lone Star State to 42.

Details of the Los Lunas, Lufkin and Nederland restaurants will be announced at a later date.

Wienerschnitzel is a proud member of Galardi Group, Inc.  A family-owned company, Galardi Group operates 333 Wienerschnitzel and Hamburger Stand restaurants in 11 states and actively targets new franchisees throughout the Pacific Coast and Southwest.
