Wienerschnitzel is at it again. A noted supporter of action sports, the famous hot dog chain fulfills its promise to fuel the return of eleven-time X-Games Champion Travis Pastrana to NASCAR by sponsoring his September 30 appearances at the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race at Las Vegas. The sponsorship, initially announced in June, will be showcased at this weekend’s race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Pastrana will be racing his Chevrolet No. 45 for Niece Motorsports. The race begins at 5:15 p.m. following a 12:15 p.m. media Q&A session at the NASCAR Media Center.

“We are honored to be a part of Travis returning to NASCAR,” says J.R. Galardi, Wienerschnitzel executive vice president. “Travis is the ultimate hot-dogger, and since nothing goes together like hot dogs and motor sports, it makes sense that Wienerschnitzel supports Pastrana at this NASCAR event.”

Galardi also confirmed Travis will host a meet and greet at the Las Vegas Wienerschnitzel, located at 4470 E. Charleston Blvd., approximately10 miles from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, on Friday, September 29, from 1 to 3 p.m. Fans are encouraged to come out to the restaurant to meet the action spots star, get an autograph, and see his No. 45 Chevy.

Wienerschnitzel launched the partnership with Pastrana at the World Nitro Games in Salt Lake City with a contest for one lucky fan to win a trip for two to see Pastrana compete in Las Vegas. “We’re delighted to welcome Travis and motorsports fans Tim Reiter and Collin Nichols this weekend as the lucky winners,” Galardi adds.
