Wildflower Debuts Seasonal Menu, Breakfast Bowls

Wildflower Bread Company, known as a neighborhood restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, announced the debut of its new seasonal menu. Highlighting fall’s most-loved foods, such as pumpkin spice and cranberry-walnut stuffing, the menu is available now through Thanksgiving.

“This season we are really excited to offer our Protein and Shakshuka Breakfast Bowls. They are packed with all of the nutrients that you need to start to your day,” says Louis Basile, founder of Wildflower Bread Company. “We take great pride in continuing to offer our guests fresh and seasonal dishes throughout the year. Each fall we bring back guest favorites like our popular turkey cranberry walnut stuffing sandwich while adding something unexpected like our new breakfast bowls.”

In addition to all of the traditional Wildflower favorites, guests will find the following items at their local restaurant for a limited time:

Shakshuka Breakfast Bowl

Popular throughout Europe and the Middle East, shakshuka is especially popular for breakfast. The Shakshuka Breakfast Bowl features sunny side up eggs served over a sauce of tomatoes, peppers, onions, feta, spices and cilantro. They are serving each bowl with grilled herb focaccia, which is great for dipping in the sauce and egg yolk.

Protein Breakfast Bowl

The savory Protein Breakfast Bowl is flavorful, filling and rich in protein. Each bowl boasts around 39 grams of protein per serving, which is more than half of the recommended daily serving for both men and women. They serve sunny side up eggs over sautéed organic quinoa, sausage, slow-roasted tomatoes, spinach and scallions. They are serving the Protein Breakfast Bowl with artisan toast, hand-cut bread of the day toasted, and buttered.

Turkey Waldorf Salad

Ease into autumn with oven-roasted turkey breast, gala apples, red grapes, carrots, celery, jicama, red onions and Coleslaw dressing served atop field greens with dried cranberries, spicy pecans and balsamic vinaigrette.

Turkey Cranberry Walnut Stuffing Sandwich

This seasonal menu favorite returns for the 10th year in a row. Oven-roasted turkey breast, cranberry walnut stuffing, cranberry sauce, bacon and herb mayo served on signature stuffing bread with a side of original and sweet potato chips. Just like homemade stuffing, the stuffing bread is packed with carrots, celery, pecans and fresh sage. Stuffing bread is also available by the loaf.

Hearty Mushroom Ragu

This comforting pasta dish features penne, mushroom cream sauce, ground beef and pork, sundried tomatoes, crushed red pepper, spinach and grated Parmesan. Served from 3 p.m. until close with a side of grilled garlic bread.

Homestyle Penne

A hearty customer favorite, this simple, yet satisfying dish features penne, marinara, ricotta, beef and pork with crushed red pepper, parmesan, homemade bread crumbs and basil. Served from 3 p.m. until close with a side of grilled garlic bread.

Pumpkin Cinnamon Latte

Wildflower has jumped on the pumpkin bandwagon. The signature espresso and milk are highlighted by flavor notes of pumpkin and cinnamon. Topped with whipped cream, of course.
