Wing It On! Opens First North Carolina Location

    Industry News | August 11, 2020

Wing It On! announced the opening of its first location in North Carolina, situated at 2526 Hillsborough St. in Raleigh.

“I’m thrilled to bring the Wing It On! tradition of great food, amazing value and remarkable service into Raleigh,” says Matt Ensero, CEO and founder of Wing It On! “The key to Wing It On!, has been the true buffalo-quality wing – it’s what sets us apart from other concepts along with maintaining excellent customer service, a fresh, always crispy product and a great reputation. Our award-winning sauces and inviting atmosphere are unmatched and we’re excited for locals, college students and wing fans to swing by and give us a try.”

The new Wing It On! location offers takeout and third-party delivery Monday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 a.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 1 a.m. The restaurant has a dine-in section with a 50 percent capacity limit at this time.

Creating the best wing experience around goes back to the early 2000s when Ensero, and his friends would argue every football Sunday about who was driving 30-plus minutes to pick up wings from some of their favorite spots in nearby towns. However, the distance and low-quality product would always result in soggy and cold wings once they got home. Ensero had enough, hence, Wing It On! was born. He opened the first Wing It On! in Waterbury, Connecticut, serving only the crispiest of wings that all true wing nuts crave.

Wing It On! has earned a loyal fan following redefining the standards for fresh and crispy wings. With a simplified, innovative menu, fans of the brand have experienced the true buffalo-quality wing cooked and sauced or seasoned to perfection. In addition to its famous wings, Wing It On! also serves chicken sandwiches and customizable seasoned fries.
