Wingstop Restaurants Inc. announced the relocation of its corporate headquarters from Richardson, Texas, to The Crossings II, a professional building at 5501 LBJ Fwy. in Dallas. The move follows the biggest year of growth in Wingstop history, resulting in 74 new restaurant openings and franchise development agreements for more than 180 domestic locations and more than 40 international locations.
“We’ve had an incredible year with the opening of our 600th location, international expansion to Singapore and Russia, this month’s celebration of our 10th year of positive same store sales growth, and franchise agreements to develop more restaurants in 2014 and set another record,” says Charlie Morrison, chief executive officer and president of Wingstop. “We also outgrew our home office, and our new headquarters gives us exceptional space for our team to support the growing franchise network.”
Wingstop now occupies the fifth floor of its new home with more than 25,000 square feet and much-needed resources, including conference rooms, a training room, and a more collaborative open working environment for the entire team.
The chain that started in North Texas now has locations around the world and continues to target development opportunities that will take Wingstop to new states and countries in the months and years ahead.
