Wingstop Restaurants Inc, the award-winning wing concept with more than 1,000 locations worldwide, announced that Larry Kruguer has been appointed to the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In his new role, Kruguer, who previously served as Wingstop’s President of International since 2015, will be responsible for the company’s global operations, supply chain and training. He will continue to report directly to Charlie Morrison, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

“Larry is a talented restaurant executive who has done an exceptional job building our international business with development agreements that will put Wingstop on five continents and thirteen countries, including our 100th international location, opened just last week,” says Charlie Morrison. “This expanded role will leverage his broad business knowledge to integrate our U.S. and international organizations, further scaling them for future growth and becoming a top 10 global restaurant brand.”

Wingstop’s corporate and franchise-owned locations currently operate in nine countries including the U.S., Mexico, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Colombia. As of the end of 2017, the company had over 1,000 signed commitments for new restaurant development globally.
