Wow Bao, the omni-channel, fast-casual Asian restaurant concept continues to break new barriers with the launch of its Salt Lake City International Airport location, in partnership with OHM Concession Group (OHM). With this opening, the Chicago-based brand celebrates its westernmost storefront to date. Known for its Asian steamed buns with savory and sweet fillings, Wow Bao also offers a variety of pan-seared potstickers and rice bowls.
“We are proud to join the award-winning concessions program at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC). This location is a significant opportunity for Wow Bao to further expand our brand presence across the country,” says Geoff Alexander, president and CEO of Wow Bao. “Our airport stores are a key channel that amplifies Wow Bao and demonstrates our commitment to serve quality, fast-casual Asian street food to a broader audience that expects the unique flavors and on-the-go convenience Wow Bao is known for.”
Flyers will be able to order from popular menu items including Teriyaki Chicken, Spicy Mongolian Beef, and BBQ Pork Bao, as well as Spicy Kung Pao Chicken over Jasmine or Fried Rice. Open 365 days a year, the Salt Lake City International Airport location will operate from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and also offer Wow Bao’s traditional breakfast bao flavors including sausage, egg, and cheese; bacon, egg, and cheese; and spinach, egg, and mushroom until 10 a.m. The location is situated on Concourse A East, next to Gate A28
“OHM and our team at SLC are excited to bring Wow Bao to the passengers of this amazing Airport. Moreover, we are proud of this relationship with the Wow Bao team and look forward to working together to deliver Wow Bao exciting menu to the travelers,” says Milan Patel, president & CEO of OHM Concession Group.
This is Wow Bao’s seventh airport location and second partnership with an Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE), reinforcing the brand’s commitment as an active member of the Airport Minority Advisory Council.
