As part of its commitment to the guest experience and expanding its offerings to fit a variety of culinary trends, dietary needs and preferences, Wow Bao is partnering up with Impossible Foods to create the meatless bao bun, with the vegetarian option hitting stores August 5.

The zero-cholesterol Spicy Mongolian meatless bao is crafted with Impossible’s plant-based “beef” protein with flavors of red chili, garlic, and ginger. The meatless Spicy Mongolian will also be available as an option for their rice and noodle bowls as well.

Wow Bao specializes in the brand’s iconic bao—steamed hot Asian buns with a variety of savory and sweet fillings, including: Teriyaki Chicken, BBQ Berkshire Pork, Hunan Spicy Steak, Spicy Kung Pao Chicken, Orange Chicken, Thai Curry Chicken, Whole Wheat Vegetable, Coconut Custard, and Chocolate. Wow Bao’s steamed bao feature a cloudlike consistency and offer a variety of options that are under 200 calories.
