McDonald's is adding a new chicken offering to its menu, the new Premium McWrap, which will roll out to restaurants nationwide.

The new tortilla-wrapped entree features fresh vegetables, grilled or crispy chicken breast, and signature sauces like seasoned rice vinegar, sweet chili, or creamy garlic.

The wrap is served in a handheld packaged designed to fit the busy, on-the-go lifestyle.

The wrap made its way to the U.S. from McDonald's Europe, where in 2004 it launched in Poland as one of its most successful menu items.

The wraps range from 360 to 600 calories, depending on how to customer chooses to customize it. There are three wrap varieties:

  • Sweet Chili Chicken includes grilled or crispy chicken breast filet, crisp cucumber slices, spring greens, shredded lettuce, sweet chili, and Cheddar Jack cheese, all drizzled with creamy garlic sauce and wrapped in a 10-inch warm flour tortilla (360-520 calories).
  • Chicken & Bacon includes grilled or crispy chicken breast filet with bacon, two half-slices of tomato, spring greens, shredded lettuce, and Cheddar Jack Cheese, drizzled with a creamy garlic sauce and wrapped in a 10-inch flour tortilla (440-600 calories).
  • Chicken & Ranch includes grilled or crispy chicken breast filet, two half-slices of tomato, cucumber slices, spring greens, shredded lettuce, and Cheddar Jack Cheese, all drizzled with seasoned rice vinegar and buttermilk ranch sauce and wrapped in a flour tortilla (430-590 calories).
