Yalla Mediterranean, the newly launched fast-casual concept focused on fresh, healthy, and flavorful Mediterranean fare cooked to order, announced a Catering Menu and a Family Style Carry-Out Meal. Created to meet the needs of business professionals, the Catering Menu is ideal for meetings and corporate lunches while the Family Style Carry-Out Meal is the perfect solution for families seeking healthy and affordable carryout dinner options. Both the Family Style Carry-Out Meal and the Catering Menu are now available. Yalla, meaning “Let’s go!” in several Mediterranean-area dialects, showcases bold flavors through a variety of pita wraps, skewers, salads, seasonal Mediterranean side dishes, and desserts.

“We are pleased to offer guests a new and convenient way to enjoy our menu of fresh, healthful selections in the comfort of their homes and offices,” says Kelly Hansen, director of marketing for Yalla. “Our food is easily transported and is delicious anywhere and anytime.”

Yalla’s Catering Menu is designed to please a variety of palates for meetings and corporate lunches. Priced at $10.50 per person, the menu accommodates groups as small as eight and up to 200. A style is first selected—either a Pita Wrap Spread or a Yalla “Plate” Spread. The Pita Wrap Spread includes a pita wrap with traditional toppings such as hummus, tzatziki, cucumber, tomato, olives, red cabbage, sumac onions, and Israeli pickles, while the Yalla “Plate” Spread includes rice pilaf, seasonal grilled vegetables, and mixed greens with Greek vinaigrette. Next, select one of the following options: grilled chicken, steak and kefta, chicken shawarma, or falafel. Then, choose three Yalla sides from choices such as Turkish cabbage slaw, kale and beet salad, or pea and mint salad. For a sweet finish, add a gluten-free chocolate “pita” cookie for $1.95 each.

Packaged in compostable catering boxes and delivered in a reusable Yalla bag, the catering offerings are designed to be presented in the same “line ordering style” to recreate the Yalla experience. Detailed item card descriptors are included that can be displayed so that everyone can easily identify menu items. Each order includes plates, utensils, and napkins along with serving spoons and tongs.

While the Catering Menu is ideal for the office, the Family Style Carry-Out Meal is a healthy, balanced meal perfect for families. Priced at $38, the offering serves a family of four and includes a number of tasty dishes, including mini pitas, hummus, rice pilaf, and mixed greens with Greek vinaigrette. To complete the meal, select two options from the following: chicken skewers, steak skewers, salmon skewers, kefta skewers, chicken shawarma, or falafel, plus a choice of three Yalla sides.

Yalla’s cuisine accommodates those adhering to vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets, offering numerous salads, grilled meat,s and side options to provide a satisfying, wholesome and nutritious meal. Yalla also prides itself on sustainability, and both the Catering Menu and the Family Style Carry-Out Meal come in 100 percent certified compostable disposables that are designed to keep food as fresh as possible.

Orders for both the Family Style Carry-Out Meal and the Catering Menu can be placed online at or phoned into Yalla directly. All Catering Menu orders must be placed the prior day by 5 p.m. and delivery is available for a $15 flat fee. The Family Style Carry-Out Meal can either be ordered in-store or online; advanced ordering is not required.

Yalla is owned by Mediterranean Cuisine Operating Company LLC, which also operates Daphne’s California Greek. Yalla debuted in December 2014 in downtown Pleasant Hill and will open a second location in Walnut Creek, California in Ygnacio Plaza in late March. Over the course of the next two years, a number of Daphne's locations in California will be converted to Yalla.
