Yorkshire Global Restaurants, Inc., parent company for Long John Silver’s Restaurants and A&W Restaurants will take another step in preparation for moving its world headquarters to Lexington with an aggressive program to attract some new 100 employees.
Yorkshire will host a Job Fair, Saturday and Sunday, July 22-23, 2000 in at the Long John’s Silver’s Headquarters in Lexington in search of 100 persons to fill a variety of positions from management directors and managers to administrative support.
The Job Fair will be held 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, July 22 and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday July 23, 2000 at the Long John Headquarters, 151 Dabny Drive, Lexington.
“We are firmly convinced that Lexington is poised to become a strategically located business center for the United States, and we are committed to making Lexington our home,” explained Sid Feltenstein, chairman of Yorkshire Global Restaurants. “We need good employees to make this happen, and we will go to great lengths for Yorkshire Global to be the employer of choice in Lexington and to make this happen.”
The need for employees for Yorkshire Global, which represents some 2,200 quick service A&W and Long John Silver’s Restaurants around the world, came about when the organization recently announced it would consolidate operations for A&W and Long John Silver’s into one building.
