Brands, Inc. announced today that it has completed the purchase of the remaining 50 percent interest of its 541 Pizza Huts in the United Kingdom from Whitbread PLC, its long-time joint-venture partner. The transaction was previously announced on July 31, 2006. Further details of the transaction will be included in the company’s Q3 Earnings release on October 11, 2006.
