Yummy Cupcakes Kicks Off Expansion with 1st Franchisee

Yummy Cupcakes, the Los Angeles-based gourmet cupcake bakeshop that offers an extensive line of cupcakes and specialty cupcake treats, recently announced its aggressive franchise growth plans, sweetening the deal for consumers and franchise prospects alike. The bakeshop will call the San Diego coast its latest “treat spot” with its first domestic franchise location opening early July.

The one-of-a-kind bakeshop offers a variety of exceptional cupcakes as well as specialty cupcake treats such as cupcakes-in-a-jar and cupcake push-pops, all made daily from scratch with more than 400 artisanal flavors. For those with dietary restrictions, Yummy Cupcakes offers glute-less, vegan, and sugar-free options. With a majority of ticket sales coming from specialty orders and private events, Yummy Cupcakes sits extremely high among its competition in the quick service industry.


There may be other bakeshops, but there is nothing out there like Yummy Cupcakes,” says CEO and founder Tiffini Soforenko, who is also the mastermind and executive chef for the brand. “We fully embrace our new growth plan and will continue to show customers that there is a major difference between a ‘good cupcake’ and a ‘great cupcake’.”


Yummy Cupcakes has multi-unit franchise opportunities available through different development options. Franchisees can purchase a full-sized bakeshop with the option to add on satellite

bakeshops nearby for a smaller footprint. The low barrier of entry makes Yummy Cupcakes an attractive franchise option, and with seven domestic locations there is plenty of room to grow.
