Zatarain's Butterfly Shrimp Return at Popeyes

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, a division of AFC Enterprises Inc., is bringing back Popeyes Zatarain's Butterfly Shrimp, a celebration of two iconic New Orleans brands that includes eight succulent shrimp, Cajun fries, biscuit, and Lemon Garlic Dipping Sauce for only $4.99 available through July 28.


The combination of Popeyes Butterfly Shrimp and Zatarain's seasoning and signature cornmeal breading provides the taste of New Orleans. A complement is Popeyes signature Lemon Garlic Dipping Sauce - a zesty lemon garlic sauce that includes parsley and red pepper flakes.


Building on last year's Zatarain's Butterfly Shrimp success, Popeyes and Zatarain's decided to launch a "Tweet Your Way to Mardi Gras" sweepstakes on Twitter. The brands will partner to engage users on Twitter with a variety of Vine videos featuring Zatarain's Butterfly Shrimp. Anyone following @popeyeschicken and @myzatarains on Twitter who tweet or re-tweet using #ZatsAtPopeyes between June 24 and July 28 will be entered for a chance to win Popeyes/Zatarain's weekly prize packs and the grand prize of a trip to Mardi Gras in 2014 .
