Michael, President and CEO, American Kiosk Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: AKIS), parent company for Zero’s, Mr. Submarine, Inc., announces that Zero’s, Mr. Submarine, Inc.’s Area Developers RNB, Inc. have signed two leases with a large regional C-Store Company, in Vero Beach and Ocala, Florida.
Zero’s C-Store concept will still offer a full Zero’s menu and have a drive-thru window for consumer convenience. This new design allows for Zero’s to share space with the C-Store as opposed to being separate from the C-Store, which is what Zero’s has done in the past. The Vero Beach location is already under construction and should be open within the next 6 weeks. Ocala, Fla. is being designed and hopes to be open in the first quarter of 2001, corresponding with the planned opening of the new Zero’s Subs location in Jacksonville, Fla.
Zero’s Subs has won the Virginia Pilot’s Readers’ Choice Awards for “Best Of The Beach” 2000, for the Best Sub Shop, for the eighth straight year, beating out all of the other national chains in the area. Zero’s Subs currently has over 60 restaurants in operation in five states, and more than twenty-five (25) units under development. Zero’s is expanding internationally, with four (4) units presently open in China, and two locations under development in Venezuela.
