Escape Enterprises is pleased to announce the addition of Anthony Ticconi and Dirk Ahlgrim to their corporate team. Ticconi was hired as VP of domestic franchise development, and Dirk Ahlgrim will be working as the director of training.
Ticconi has experience as a franchise development manager for Mrs. Fields Famous Brands, as well as Papa Gino’s Pizzeria and D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches. Before he worked in development, Ticconi was a 14-unit TCBY franchisee. As the VP of domestic franchise development for Escape Enterprises, Ticconi will be responsible for helping potential franchisees determine whether or not owning a franchise is a good fit for them, and if it’s affordable, as well as market assessment, site selection, and the franchise startup process.
“Anthony clearly has a lot of experience in franchise development,” Ken Smith, Escape Enterprises Chairman, says. “From owning his own group of franchises, to working as a development manager, he really knows what it takes and how rewarding it can be to open a franchise.”
Ahlgrim most recently was the director of training for Bruegger’s Enterprises. He also worked as the director of training and store opening coordinator for Vocelli Pizza. As the director of training for Escape Enterprises, Ahlgrim will be responsible for developing and implementing the training program for new Steak Escape employees.
“In addition to his sincere passion for training, Dirk has an excellent understanding of operations,” Smith says. “He is already dedicated to the mission of all Steak Escape employees making a difference in our restaurants every day.”
Ticconi’s first day with Escape Enterprises was April 15. Algrim will join Escape Enterprises on May 6. Ticconi and Algrim replace Jeff Fix and Amy Halley, respectively.
