On November 12, Golden Dynasty, an elevated Chinese takeout concept dedicated exclusively to pickup and delivery, will make its Fort Lauderdale debut. Developed by the team behind local favorite Casa Sensei, a six-time winner of Fort Lauderdale Magazine’s “Best Asian Restaurant,” Golden Dynasty draws on the comfort and nostalgia of traditional Chinese takeout, bringing a fresh perspective to the familiar dishes generations of diners have come to know and love.
After years of serving Asian-inspired Latin-fusion cuisine at Casa Sensei, the team recognized a demand for premium Chinese takeout that reflected the same standards guests had come to expect from the restaurant. With a menu developed by Executive Chef Christopher Ramos, the concept applies the same culinary standards and attention to detail associated with Casa Sensei, incorporating premium ingredients, house-made sauces and the quality of a sit-down dining experience into every order.
“Chinese takeout has always had a sense of comfort and nostalgia for me,” said Patricia Lara, owner of Golden Dynasty. “Over the years, we’ve loved bringing our take on Asian-Latin fusion to Fort Lauderdale through Casa Sensei, but like many locals, I found myself searching for Chinese takeout that paired that same sense of familiarity with the quality of a sit-down restaurant. Golden Dynasty gave us the opportunity to create food that feels recognizable and approachable while applying the same attention to ingredients and execution our guests have come to expect from us.”
Chef Ramos built Golden Dynasty’s menu to draw on the enduring appeal of Chinese takeout while incorporating chef-driven dishes made with traditional ingredients, such as incorporating dark meat chicken typically used in Chinese recipes to achieve a desired tenderness and moisture. All sauces are made in-house, and no recipes use artificial flavor enhancers. Dishes include recognizable dim sum selections such as Shrimp Shumai ($14) topped with scallions, fluffy Bao Buns ($15) served with a choice of protein, cucumber, scallions and hoisin sauce and Spring Rolls ($9), alongside shareable wok-tossed appetizers like Salt & Pepper Prawns ($17). Guests can also enjoy a variety of noodle and rice dishes, including Kung Fu Lo Mein ($20) with mushrooms, bean sprouts, green beans and bell peppers; Pad Kee Mao ($20) with flat rice noodles, basil, egg, mushrooms, scallions, onion and baby corn; and Dynasty Special Fried Rice ($22) prepared with pork, chicken, shrimp and mixed vegetables.
Entrées include the chef-recommended Chinese Garlic Shrimp ($26), featuring minced garlic, soy and scallions; Pepper Steak ($25), a nostalgic favorite with onions and bell peppers in a pepper-garlic sauce; Honey Garlic Chicken ($23) with crispy chicken bites, honey-garlic soy sauce and a hint of spice; Mongolian Duck ($41), an unexpected offering comparative to the widely recognized Mongolian Beef (also offered on the menu), featuring crispy house duck with house special Mongolian sauce; and House Broccoli & Umami Glaze ($23), featuring crisp broccoli in a savory garlic-infused brown sauce with a choice of chicken, beef, shrimp or crispy tofu.
While the menu is rooted in Chinese takeout traditions, Golden Dynasty also features a select collection of guest favorites from Casa Sensei, including Rock Shrimp Tempura ($15) with chipotle mayo, scallions and crispy rice noodles, and House Calamari ($16) accompanied by marinara and bang bang sauce. Each order is finished with traditional sauce packages, including soy, duck and mustard, alongside fortune cookies, a familiar final touch to the Chinese takeout experience.

Golden Dynasty will be open from 4–10:30 p.m. on Mondays, 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 11:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays; and 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Sundays.
