Cathy Hull, Fazoli’s chief marketing officer, has been selected by the ranking committee of ExecRank as a “Top Private Company Marketing Executive” for 2012.
The rankings are the result of two years of research and feedback from evaluation committees and top chief marketing officers that yielded an algorithm for how to rank marketing executives based on their performance in 24 key areas.
Adam Navrozally, analyst for the rankings division of ExecRank, says, “We were extremely impressed with Ms. Hull’s long record of success in marketing and business development in the food industry. She is highly regarded in the food industry and among other marketing officers.”
Very few other chain restaurant marketing executives appear on the 2012 list.
In addition to leading brand marketing, Hull directs Fazoli’s menu development.
Fazoli’s president and CEO Carl Howard says Hull has played an integral role in Fazoli’s turnaround.
“Fazoli’s is fortunate to have one of the nation’s top marketing officers on its team,” he adds. “Cathy spearheaded many guest-service initiatives that are at the core of our historic same-store sales streak now standing at 28 months.”
ExecRank evaluated more than 15,000 private-company marketing executives this year to rank only the top 250. 2012 has seen a heavy focus on social-media marketing, as well as engagement strategies that break through the clutter and show a positive return on investment.
