Fired Pie announced plans to open its 19th location in Arizona, and the first in the city of Gilbert, Arizona. In 2013, locally owned and operated Fired Pie exploded on the dining scene as the first fast-casual pizza and salad restaurant of its kind in Phoenix. The restaurant has continued to see an upward growth and the company recently received a funding package totaling 2.7 million dollars, which will enable the Arizona-based concept to expand even more.
“We are excited with our new partnership with BBVA/Compass Bank and the opportunity it provides us with our continued expansion,” says CFO Abby Anderson.
The new store will be located at SanTan Village (2218 E. Williams Field Rd.) and opens on Thursday, November 9th. SanTan Village is an open-air shopping center with national retailers, big-box stores, sit-down restaurants, and fast-casual food.
“The continued support and demand we receive from all the pizza lovers in the community is the driving force behind our future plans,” says co-owner Fred Morgan. “We are listening to our customers, giving them what they want and opening up more Fired Pies.”
Currently, with 16 stores in metro Phoenix and two in Tucson, Ariz., the generous funding has solidified the company’s plans to open three to five more stores within the next year, including out-of-state expansion.
“We are excited to launch in new markets as we feel there is a lot of opportunity for growth in several areas,” says co-owner Doug Doyle. “Our continued success is due to our quality of the product we serve our loyal customers.”
