Tim Hortons, the beloved coffee and bakery shop founded in Canada 60 years ago and celebrating its 40th anniversary in the U.S., is officially open in Metro Atlanta!

Celebratory grand opening events will occur on April 12 at 7940 Senoia Road in Fairburn at 5 a.m. and 610 Spring St. NW in Atlanta at 6 a.m. The first 100 guests to visit each restaurant on the morning of the grand opening events will receive a Tim Hortons gift card. No purchase is necessary. In addition, guests will be offered any sized hot or iced coffee for just 99 cents and a 10-pack of Timbits for just $1. The grand opening celebration in Fairburn will include an Iced Capp beverage sampling while supplies last and free family fun, including a bouncy castle and inflatable slide for kids.

The popular restaurant chain, famous for its iced and hot coffee, baked goods and breakfast sandwiches, opened its first Georgia restaurant in Columbus last summer.

“We’ve received such a warm welcome from the Columbus community, and we’re thrilled to be celebrating our growth in Georgia now with two restaurants in Atlanta,” says Tim Hortons U.S. President Katerina Glyptis. “With 40 strong years in the U.S., we’re so excited to introduce Tim Hortons to more and more Americans in 2024 with exciting plans to open more restaurants and launch in new markets. World-renowned for its Original Blend coffee, which is brewed fresh every 20 minutes, Tim Hortons also serves a variety of beverage options, including Cold Brew with cold foam, hot and iced lattes, its famous Iced Capp beverages, TimsBoost energy infusions, Tim Hortons Refreshers, and more. Guests can also enjoy quality food options like made-to-order breakfast sandwiches with freshly cracked eggs, hand-dipped and glazed donuts, and a variety of donut holes affectionately known as “Timbits.”

Supporting the communities it serves is a key part of the Tim Hortons brand. Every year on Tim Hortons Camp Day, 100 percent of coffee proceeds are donated to Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, which supports youth from disadvantaged circumstances. Its annual week-long Smile Cookie campaign also donates 100% of profits (excluding tax) from cookies to local charities and organizations in Tim Hortons communities. To date, more than $250 million has been raised through Camp Day and the Smile Cookie campaign across North America.
