Blast 825°, a fast-casual pizza restaurant, will celebrate the opening of its newest location in Roseville, California, with a week-long charity giving event culminating in a VIP Party on October 2 that is open to the public. The events also kick off National Pizza Month. The party’s headliner will be half-price pizzas and salads for every customer from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Roseville restaurant is located at 1132 Galleria Blvd, Suite 100 and is the second location for the company, which also has a restaurant in Clovis. A Rocklin location is slated to open in December.
“We are thrilled the Blast 825° fever has arrived in Roseville,” says John Ferdinandi, CEO of Milano Restaurants, parent company of Blast 825°. “Our customers rely on Blast 825° for quick-fired, unique menu options to create their own personal pizza with surprising and delicious toppings direct from our 18-foot bar. Blast 825° has the privilege of now sharing our brand’s incredible taste, diverse menu options, and quick-fired pizza-making process with the local residents of Roseville.”
Blast 825° is working with four local charities and today each of them will craft a signature, custom pizza. Representatives from Albie Aware, Placer SPCA, Blue Line Arts, and Placer Food Bank will each “crustomize” a pizza work of art that best represents the taste of their organization, choosing from more than 40 toppings, four sauces, and three hand-stretched doughs.
For a week, from September 24 through October 2 at 4 p.m, when a customer orders one of the custom pizzas, 50 percent of their entire purchase will go directly to the respective charity and will also count as a vote for the grand prize, the “People’s Choice” award. When customers attend the VIP Party on October 2, Blast 825° will announce the amount raised and match all purchases, up to an additional $825, and the winner of the “People’s Choice” will be announced. That winner’s custom work of art will be featured at the Roseville location throughout October for National Pizza Month. Blast 825° will donate an additional 30 percent of the custom creation’s proceeds throughout October to the winning organization. There will be a separate ribbon cutting at 11:30 a.m. on October 3 featuring local dignitaries including those from the Roseville Chamber of Commerce.
