White Castle’s Belgian Waffle Breakfast Sliders
“The Belgian waffles, which we import from Belgium, have a unique flavor that complements the egg with either bacon or sausage, providing a very cravable flavor. Couple that with the trend of chicken and waffles, and it all works to provide a delicious slider. Toasting the Belgian waffle brings out its sweet aroma, which permeates throughout the [restaurant]. They have this wonderful taste with hints of sugar and vanilla, and I believe we have not found any supplier in the U.S. that is able to replicate the Belgian spin on the waffle. Our customers enjoy its flavor mostly, but also its portability for the busy morning rush.”
