Haven Hot Chicken, which brings NashvilleHot Chicken and “Not Chicken” to the area as one of the first fully dedicated Nashville Hot Chicken concepts in New England, announced that it its fifth location at 1206 Storrs Road in Storrs, Connecticut, will be opening on Saturday, November 18.  This 2,000 square foot location will feature the brand’s signature menu of crispy, crunchy, juicy, spicy, delicious chicken and vegetarian options ranging from Country (not spicy) to Haven (extremely spicy), along with their beloved fries, sides and seasonal limited-time offerings. 

“We are counting down to our big grand opening, located within walking distance of the UCONN campus offering a new, delicious, convenient spot for students, staff, faculty and local area residents to grab a quick bite to eat,” says UCONN alumnus and HHC co-founder Rob LaTronica.  “Our openings keep getting bigger and better, so to celebrate this opening of Store #005, we will be giving away 500 tendie sliders to the first guests in line when we open at 10am on November 18th!”

The Storrs location will be open Monday-Friday from 10am-10pm, and Saturday-Sunday 11am-10pm.  In addition to its convenient address offering in store seating for, in-house dining, this location will offer online ordering with curbside takeout and UberEats delivery, in addition to catering services.  It will also participate in the brand’s long-term partnership with Connecticut Foodshare, raising crucial funds to help curb food insecurity in the state of Connecticut through “The Great Banana Pudding Drive,” donating $1 from the sale of each banana pudding to the organization.  Year to date, Haven Hot Chicken has donated more than $30,000 to the organization helping to feed over 60k Connecticut neighbors.

The restaurant was highlighted in 2023 as one of the “8 Fast-Food Chains that Serve the Best Hot Chicken” around the country by Eat This, Not That!
