Swig has signed a multi-unit franchise agreement with Summit Management Group to bring the brand to the Pacific Northwest. The 11-unit deal marks Swig’s entry into Washington and extends the brand’s signed franchise agreements across the United States from coast to coast. Swig plans to open its first Washington location by the end of 2026 as the brand continues its nationwide franchise expansion.

Franchisees Sean Collins, Jared Collins and Ramey Mills will lead Swig’s development across Washington, bringing extensive experience in multi-unit restaurant and franchise operations across a diverse portfolio of concepts. Through their family-owned franchise group, the team has built a strong track record of developing and operating businesses at scale while maintaining a people-first approach. The group identified Swig as a natural addition to its portfolio because the brand’s strong leadership, community engagement, and values-driven culture closely align with the team’s own approach to business.

Swig pioneered the dirty soda category with its premium, customized refreshing beverages. Guests can create a personalized beverage experience by choosing from a variety of bases, including soft drinks from Coke, Pepsi, and Dr Pepper, still and sparkling water, and Swig Energy, then customizing their drinks with flavors, fresh fruits, purees, creams, and other mix-ins. Swig is the Home of the Original Dirty Soda®.

“Bringing Swig to Washington represents an important milestone as we continue building our national footprint,” said Alex Dunn, CEO of Swig. “Sean, Jared and Ramey bring an impressive track record as multi-unit operators, and they share our commitment to people, community and creating meaningful experiences for guests. They’re the right team to introduce Swig to Washington and establish a strong foundation for our growth across the state.”

Swig designed its franchise model around efficiency and convenience, with a drive-thru-centric footprint that can operate in as little as 800–850 square feet. The concept eliminates the need for complex kitchen infrastructure, helping operators streamline labor, reduce build-out costs and efficiently scale across multiple locations.

“Washington opens an important new chapter for Swig as we continue expanding our presence across the country,” said Todd Smith, President of Swig. “This 11-unit commitment allows us to establish meaningful scale from the start while introducing the Original Dirty Soda® experience to communities throughout the region. The Pacific Northwest represents a natural next step for Swig, and we see significant opportunity to build on this momentum throughout the region.”

Swig opened its first location in St. George, Utah, in 2010 and has since grown from a single drive-thru concept into a nationally expanding brand with nearly 170 locations across 17 states. Its simple, scalable model, deeply loyal customer base, and highly personalized beverage experience continue to drive the brand’s growth across generations.

Swig continues to seek qualified multi-unit operators to support its national expansion. Ideal franchise candidates bring proven experience in restaurant operations and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences at scale.
