Envysion, Inc. today announced it will host the inaugural Managed and Hosted Video Summit this July 22 and 23, 2010, in Boulder, Colorado, at St. Julien Hotel and Spa. The Managed and Hosted Video Summit will provide a collaborative forum for thought leaders in MVaaS and hosted video to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing this newly emerging and rapidly growing market.

“We are excited to lead and sponsor this inaugural Managed and Hosted Video Summit,” says Matt Steinfort, president and CEO of Envysion. “This is the first of what we plan to be an annual event for the managed and hosted video community. This segment has built a foundation for wide-spread adoption and the objective of this Summit is to accelerate growth and establish mutually beneficial business relationships across the value chain.”

The Managed and Hosted Video Summit will feature a two day business development oriented agenda on topics that include market opportunity and challenges, innovative managed and hosted video solutions, investor and customer perspectives on the market, and channel and ecosystem views on how providers can more effectively partner. The event sponsors include Axis Communications, Envysion, Inc., and the Managed Video Blog.

“MVaaS and hosted video providers are rapidly gaining traction and changing the way end-users leverage and engage video to create value,” says Carlos Perez, vice president of product and marketing for Envysion. “As more customers embrace the managed video approach and recognize its value, it becomes even more important to clearly establish the category and articulate the differentiation of the approach. The Summit will provide a forum to discuss these critical issues as well as discuss how to overcome obstacles and learn from early successes experienced by key participants and players in other segments who have already blazed a trail that we can all learn from.”
