Burrito bliss is yet again on its way to Maryland. Bubbakoo’s Burritos, the unique Mexican-fusion concept based out of New Jersey, announced Maryland’s latest location is set to open just outside of Baltimore on February 6.

The Cockeysville location officially marks the third Bubbakoo’s Burritos restaurant to open in the state. Mexican-fusion lovers will find the new spot located at 11319 York Road, situated off Schilling Road. The grand opening will include several promotions open to the public, such as free entrees for the first 50 guests and free chips and salsa while supplies last.

The new restaurant is owned by Harsh Patel, who is joined by his family in handling the day-to-day operations. Patel was originally drawn to Bubbakoo’s Burritos for the unique and unmet gap it fills within the restaurant industry.

“We wanted to do something completely different than what the average consumer is used to,” says Patel. “Everyone is tired of the same old chains, doing the same old menu items. Bubbakoo’s is simply on another level when it comes to true menu innovation and commitment to providing each customer with exceptional service. From the moment they walk through our doors, I want them to feel like they can leave behind their stress, sit down and enjoy a meal that is new and exciting. I’m excited to have the opportunity to provide that moment of relaxation and sense of community to the greater Baltimore area.”

Patel brings an extensive background in restaurant management to this latest business venture and saw Bubbakoo’s Burritos as the next up-and-coming concept to add to his growing business portfolio. After seeing just how popular the brand’s latest openings have been, Patel knew this was the natural fit in continuing his entrepreneurial growth.

Bubbakoo’s Burritos has become a fan-favorite over the past 15 years for its unique menu, superb customer service and welcoming dining environment. The new Bubbakoo’s Burritos offers the classic menu items the brand is known for, such as the recently renamed Papi Hibachi (hibachi style steak and shrimp) burrito, Nashville burrito, Burritodilla, customizable entrees and more. Each menu item is made with fresh, tasty ingredients that will please any palette.

“We have been incredibly lucky to garner the attention of established restauranteurs in states like Maryland where we don’t have as large of a presence,” says Paul Altero, co-founder of Bubbakoo’s Burritos. “It’s fantastic to see that they recognize the true value and innovation we bring to the table, and it’s amazing to watch the demand continue growing. I know Harsh and his family will continue our mission of providing an outstanding experience and delicious food to our guests, and I look forward to watching them flourish.”

Following years of impressive growth, the brand has established a prominent U.S. presence across the country, creating a dedicated legion of Bubbakoo’s Burritos fans. A testament to the brand’s tremendous expansion efforts, Bubbakoo’s Burritos recently ranked #238 on Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 list, rising nearly 100 places from last year. This marks the brand’s highest-ever ranking for the award and its third consecutive year being named.

Bubbakoo’s Burritos has been a Mexican-fusion staple in many communities since the brand’s inception in 2008. Featuring a variety of unique, customizable and wow-worthy menu items made-to-order with fresh ingredients, the brand has grown from its Jersey Shore roots and expanded to more than 100 locations across the United States.
