Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, the leader in innovative and fresh sandwiches for 35 years, is asking its fans to show their love for their sandwiches through dance. A new application on Capriotti’s Facebook page will allow fans to upload a 35 second video of them doing a CAPpy Dance which is defined as the sudden, primal, and rhythmic exuberance one experiences after learning a visit to Capriotti’s is imminent.

Starting on September 1, participants will have three weeks to perfect and upload their personal CAPpy dance through the Facebook application. Capriotti’s Facebook fans will then have until October 3 to vote on their favorite video. Winners will be announced October 5. Prizes include a free small sandwich for all participants who entered a video. Five runner-ups will be awarded a prize. The grand prize for the best CAPpy dance will be “35 Years of Free Capriotti’s Subs” for the lucky winner.
