Chipotle officially launched the third edition of the 2020 Chipotle Challenger Series. The online tournament gives fans the chance to face-off against celebrities, athletes, musicians and more for a chance to win up to $30,000 and a year of free Chipotle. After a successful run with Call of Duty: Warzone in the first two Challenger Series, players will participate in Fortnite for the first time.
Qualifying teams will have the chance to go head to head in private lobby of 33 trio teams with an all-world roster of gaming stars including CourageJD, Myth, Bugha, Aydan, Ewok, FRESH, Nick Eh30, Mongraal, Stable Ronaldo, MrSavage, Arkhram, Rehx, Ceice, Falconer, and EmadGG.
Soccer phenom Christian Pulisic, hoopster Josh Hart, top hoops draft picks Cole Anthony, Obi Toppin, and Tre Jones, and DJ Deacon Phillippe headline an elite group of celebrity gamers that will compete against amateur players in the finale, with more to be announced.
Bugha and Pulisic, both hailing from suburban Pennsylvania, will team up in the finale to form an epic crossover team. Their alliance marks the first time an esports star will compete with a celebrity athlete in a Chipotle Challenger Series finale.
