Continuing its march across Texas, Del Taco announced the opening of its first of 25 locations planned for San Antonio.
The new San Antonio restaurant will open on Wednesday, September 4.
The new Del Taco features a 70-seat dining room, a salsa bar, and a drive thru that will be open 24 hours. This restaurant will serve breakfast from 11p.m. to 11 a.m. and will offer free WiFi in the dining room.
“Since we opened in Dallas several years ago, Texans have been loving Del Taco’s combination of fresh, made-to-order food and great value. We are excited to bring this winning combination to consumers in San Antonio,” says Paul Murphy, CEO of Del Taco. “We look forward to opening more locations and serving the people of San Antonio for a long time to come.”
Del Taco’s 25 locations will be a combination of company-owned and franchised restaurants.
Del Taco’s menu features signature tastes and value across the board. This includes Del Taco's variety of freshly prepared Mexican menu items such as tacos, burritos, and quesadillas, as well as American favorites such as cooked-to-order burgers made with fresh beef patties, crinkle-cut fries, and handmade shakes.
At Del Taco, all menu items are prepared to order using fresh ingredients including Cheddar cheese grated from 40-pound blocks, hand-made pico de gallo salsa, lard-free beans slow cooked from scratch, and marinated chicken grilled in the restaurant. Del Taco also serves breakfast featuring a full line of breakfast burritos.
Local Del Taco fans are invited to join the company’s Raving Fan eClub to receive a coupon for two free grilled chicken tacos, as well as insider-only offers.
