Yoshinoya, a global quick-service Japanese restaurant chain with more than 1,800 locations across the world, recently opened its first Yoshinoya Japanese Kitchen, a modern, bright new flagship store near LAX in Los Angeles, unveiling more variety and value with fresh new menu items, a simpler ordering process, and a whole new look.

“Yoshinoya is evolving to stay ahead of customers’ needs,” says Yoshinoya CEO Dar Vasseghi. “More than ever, today’s consumers want the freshest ingredients in delicious home-style meals at affordable prices. Yoshinoya is uniquely positioned to meet these needs, and we’re stepping up our game. At our Yoshinoya Japanese Kitchen we are featuring quality ingredients and a fresh new look in order to provide an exceptional dining experience.”

Yoshinoya added new items to its Japanese Kitchen menu and updated its signature bowls to offer more variety, more choices, and at a value. Instead of just single entrée bowls, diners can now order bowls with one or two entrée options, rice and fresh vegetables, or coleslaw. Traditional entrée choices include Teriyaki Chicken, Original Beef, Grilled Tilapia, Asian BBQ Wings, and newly launched Angus Steak and Vegetable Spring Rolls.

Yoshinoya Japanese Kitchen’s menu also expanded to include Chicken Tenders made from all white meat chicken breast and Pulled Pork.

With its bright, spacious new Westchester store, Yoshinoya Japanese Kitchen also unveils a more modern and serene environment for diners. An open kitchen design with natural finishes is accentuated with pops of orange and green and floor-to-ceiling windows bathe the space with natural light. The interior is spacious, and the colorful exterior window display showcasing their ingredients and menu is inviting.

Yoshinoya kicked of its new, improved menu and new store design at Yoshinoya Japanese Kitchen on December 15 at its new restaurant at 5656 West Manchester Avenue in Westchester. A three-day Grand Opening celebration to be held January 9–11 will include free food, prizes, and entertainment. The first 50 guests will receive a free 1 or 2 entrée bowl of their choice on all three days of the Grand Opening and one guest each day of the Grand Opening will win a free bowl every week for a year. Yoshinoya Japanese Kitchen will continue to offer daily specials for the 10 days following the Grand Opening. A portion of the net proceeds from the three-day Grand Opening sales will be donated to the Westchester YMCA.

“At Yoshinoya, our goal has always been to help guests enjoy a delicious, good-quality meal and leave happy,” Vasseghi says. “Our menu items are cooked fresh and served fast—but never microwaved or adulterated with added MSG. We’re building on that foundation with our new offerings, and our clean, modern new look reflects that.”
