Mark Damschroder has signed a master franchise deal to open 20 Freshii restaurants in Colorado and Wyoming.

The fast-casual Freshii is known for its modern, hip vibe and convenient, healthy, and delicious meals and snacks. There are 13 units in Chicago and Toronto, several new restaurants currently under construction, and 90 units in varying stages of development in Illinois, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, PA, and now Colorado and Wyoming.

The new franchisee plans to open 20 Freshii restaurants, including both corporate stores and sub-franchised locations, in select trade areas of Denver, Fort Collins, Boulder, and Colorado Springs and Laramie and Cheyenne, Wyoming. Damschroder plans to analyze strategic data on prime trade areas, including similar restaurant sales, potential sites and real estate deal terms. He aims to open his first Colorado restaurant by early 2010.

An experienced foodservice operator, Damschroder is a former Great Harvest Bread Company franchisee. He is also an attorney, and previously worked for Caterpillar.
