MICROS Systems Inc., a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality and retail industries, is pleased to announce the deployment of the cloud-based MICROS Simphony enterprise point-of-sale (POS) solution at Global Gaming Solutions’ Remington Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The solution, which encompasses 41 Revenue Centers and includes Mobile MICROS on Tablet Workstations for VIP Suite Ordering, and MICROS iCare Gift and Payment, will be implemented by the end of March 2013, in time for Remington Park’s spring horse racing schedule. This MICROS Simphony deployment will be a SaaS offering hosted in the MICROS Data Center.

Remington Park is a part of Oklahoma City’s Adventure District. Offering both horse racing and casino gaming, the “racino” has thousands of visitors daily. MICROS Simphony is designed for SaaS deployment, reducing both ongoing maintenance obligations and upfront capital investment.
Global Gaming Solutions has been a long time partner of MICROS, using MICROS 9700 POS in both its Remington Park and Lone Star Park venues. “Partnering with MICROS has been excellent for our business,” stated Scott Wells, president and general manager of Remington Park. “MICROS Simphony’s next generation feature set offers unsurpassed flexibility in managing the many service models at Remington Park, which include table service restaurants, fast casual, and quick service outlets.
