After success in initial second tier markets, Great Wraps Grill, a restaurant franchise that lives at the intersection of flavor and health, announced its strategy to focus franchising growth on secondary markets across the country. The brand has proven to thrive in these markets due to its flexible footprint that works in various venues including a standalone prototype as well as models for malls and shopping centers.

“We’ve found that there is a great demand for fast casual restaurants that offer flavorful, healthy food in these markets,” says Mark Kaplan, CEO and chairman of Great Wraps Grill. “We have the ideal opportunity to fulfill these demands by offering an alternative to conventional fast food with our chef-created menu that features hot-off-the-grill wraps, hearty bowls, and fresh salads. We are looking forward to becoming a part of these local communities and are dedicated to providing an exceptional dining experience to each guest every time.”

As part of this national strategy, one of Great Wraps Grill’s first targets for expansion is Pensacola, Florida. Great Wraps Grill is currently seeking franchise partners in the area who possess a passion for the brand and are interested in operating a prime food court location in Cordova Mall. Great Wraps Grill will host Discovery Days for potential local franchisees on Thursday, May 7, and Friday, May 8, at the mall.

“In order to meet consumer demand, venues in cities including Pensacola, Forida, are seeking restaurant concepts that have proven success in prime locations including malls and shopping centers,” Kaplan adds. “We’ve placed our focus on these markets because we believe that with our healthy menu, innovative restaurant design, and flexible footprint, Great Wraps Grill has the unique opportunity to excel in these areas.”
