Haven Hot Chicken, which brings NashvilleHot Chicken and “Not Chicken” to the area as one of the first fully dedicated Nashville Hot Chicken concepts in New England, announced that its seventh location – store #007 – will be opening early 2024 in Newington, Connecticut.  Located at 12 Fenn Road, the 1200 square foot location will feature the brand’s signature menu of crispy, crunchy, juicy, spicy, delicious chicken and not chicken, their vegetarian option, ranging from Country (not spicy) to Haven (extremely spicy), along with their beloved fries, sides and seasonal limited-time offerings.  The brand also operates locations in New Haven, Orange, Norwalk, North Haven, Middletown (later this year) and Storrs (opening November 18th!).

“Newington, here we come!,” says Jason Sobocinski, President and co-founder, Haven Hot Chicken.  “Our entire team is looking forward to bringing our crispy, crunchy, juicy, spicy, delicious Hot and Not Chicken closer to the Hartford area, at a convenient location right off of Route 9 and the Central Connecticut campus.  With limited seating for in-house dining, we will continue to lean into our model recognizing the importance of curbside takeout and UberEats delivery.”

The new location will participate in the brand’s long-term partnership with Connecticut Foodshare, raising crucial funds to help curb food insecurity in the state of Connecticut through “The Great Banana Pudding Drive,” donating $1 from the sale of each banana pudding to the organization.  To date, Haven Hot Chicken has donated more than $30,000 to the organization and helping feed over 60k CT neighbors.
