Haven Hot Chicken, which brings Nashville Hot Chicken and “Not Chicken” to the area as one of the first fully dedicated Nashville Hot Chicken concepts in New England, announced that it will be opening its sixth location – Store #006 – in Middletown, Connecticut on Saturday, January 27th, 2024.  Located at 524 Main Street, the 1800 square foot location will feature the brand’s signature menu of crispy, crunchy, juicy, spicy, delicious chicken and vegetarian options ranging from Country (not spicy) to Haven (extremely spicy), including the epic and signature “THE Sandwich,” as well as other featured mains, classic sides and seasonal limited-time offerings.  The brand also operates locations in New Haven, Orange, Norwalk, North Haven and Storrs.

“Central Connecticut – here we come with our newest location – the FIRST in Middlesex County! – convenient to Wesleyan University, Middlesex Hospital and so many other businesses, including quick access from Route 9,” says Steve Barichko, General Manager of this new location.  “We will be opening at 11am on Saturday the 27th to start the celebration for our grand opening and will be giving away 203 of our signature item – THE Sandwich – to the first guests in line! We can’t wait to welcome in the newest members of our fuego family to try the BEST Hot Chicken and Not Chicken they’ve ever had!”

The new Middletown location will be open 7 days a week for everyone from 11am-10pm.  Store #006 will have seating for in-house dining and offer online ordering with curbside takeout and Uber Eats delivery, in addition to catering services.  It will also participate in the brand’s long-term partnership with Connecticut Foodshare, raising crucial funds to help curb food insecurity in the state of Connecticut through “The Great Banana Pudding Drive,” donating $1 from the sale of each banana pudding to the organization.  In 2023, Haven Hot Chicken donated more than $30,000 to the organization helping to feed over 60k Connecticut neighbors.
