McDonald’s Holding Co. (Japan) announced this morning that sales 3, 800 stores increased for the first time since January. For Monday, August 5th, the company reported a 2.3 percent increase from the same day last year.
In store visitors also rose on Monday, by 12.7 percent as compared to last year. Executives credit the chain’s decision to drastically reduce the price of its sandwiches.
