As schools are closed for the summer and fall openings still remain uncertain throughout many parts of the country, millions of U.S. children are facing the threat of hunger and food insecurity. That is why Moe’s Southwest Grill will be donating 1.8 million meals this summer through their partnership with No Kid Hungry.
From July 30 through the end of August, $1 for every Moe’s Meal Kit sold will be donated to No Kid Hungry. Meal Kits include Taco Kits, originally released in March in response to COVID-19 as a way to help families dine together at home, as well as the new Nacho Meal Kits and Fajita Meal Kits, giving customers even more options to feed their families while helping to give back.
Moe’s Meal Kits will provide a full Southwest spread serving 4-5 people and featuring all the fixins for each family member to create their own culinary masterpiece.
Nacho Kits (starting at $24.99): your choice of 2 proteins, beans, pico de gallo, jalapenos, sour cream, salsa, queso and chips.
Taco Kits (starting at $29.99): your choice of 2 proteins, tortillas, queso, beans, rice, lettuce, cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream, queso and chips.
Fajita Kits (starting at $34.99): your choice of 2 proteins, tortillas, beans, rice, lettuce, cheese, pico de gallo, grilled peppers, grilled onions, guacamole, sour cream, queso and chips.
To help customers make the most out of their leftovers, each kit will also include a special recipe developed by Moe’s Chef Caroline Morris, including Taco Kit Enchiladas, Fajita Kit Personal Pizzas and Nacho Kit Chilaquiles.
