NCR Voyix announced a multi-year Voyix Commerce Platform agreement with Sbarro, a leading global pizza chain and long-standing customer of NCR Voyix.

As part of the agreement, Sbarro will adopt Aloha Next point-of-sale and leverage the end-to-end payment acceptance capabilities of Voyix Pay across nearly 300 corporate-owned restaurants and franchise locations in the U.S. This deployment will create a unified technology environment for Sbarro’s in-store and above-store operations, providing centralized data management and greater standardization, visibility and resiliency across the enterprise.

Built on the Voyix Commerce Platform, Aloha Next combines the restaurant functionality operators depend on today with a modern, microservices architecture designed to simplify operations, accelerate innovation and enable brands to adapt and scale over time.

“Sustainable growth at Sbarro requires a technology platform that can keep up with the pace of our business while making it easier to operate consistently across our restaurant network,” said David Karam, Chief Executive Officer, Sbarro.”With Aloha Next, we’re building on a long-standing partnership with NCR Voyix to simplify our technology environment, strengthen visibility across operations and give our teams greater agility as we continue to grow.”

“Having supported Sbarro for more than a decade, we understand both their business and the complex operational demands of a growing global restaurant brand,” said Benny Tadele, Executive Vice President and President, Restaurants, NCR Voyix. “Aloha Next brings forward the proven restaurant capabilities Sbarro relies on today while moving them to a modern architecture designed to provide a highly resilient and secure technology foundation.”
