Smalls Sliders is making sure its local impact extends well beyond the Can.
Smalls Sliders and its local franchisees have recognized individuals and organizations making a meaningful difference in the communities they serve through its Smalls Town Hero program. Since its inception in 2024, the fast-growing slider brand has contributed more than $60,000 to local causes across its growing footprint
Built into the brand’s approach to entering new communities, the programgives local franchisees an opportunity to identify and celebrate a person or organization whose work embodies the spirit of their community. Honorees are recognized around each Can’s grand opening, often accompanied by a charitable contribution supporting their continued impact.
“Opening a new Can is about more than bringing Smalls to another market. It’s about becoming part of that community from day one,” said Brandon Landry, founder of Smalls Sliders. “There are incredible people and organizations already doing meaningful work in every town we enter, and this program gives us an opportunity to celebrate them and help make their day, and their community, a small bit better.”
Throughout 2026, Smalls Town Hero honorees have supported causes spanning food insecurity, youth development, veteran services, education and family assistance. Honorees have included Boot Campaign in Tyler, Texas; PORCH Marietta in Marietta, Georgia; Boys & Girls Club of the Permian Basin in Odessa, Texas; Joshua House in Lutz, Florida; and community leader Al Holdren in Muncie, Indiana, among others—extending the impact of each new Can beyond its opening and into the communities Smalls serves.
