Pal’s Sudden Service, one of America’s leading regional fast food chains, has earned the prestigious Great Places To Work Certification for 2026-2027. The certification is based on Great Place to Work proprietary process which includes GPTW employee Trust Index Survey of more than 1,400 Pal’s team members.
“The certification verifies our commitment to offering a great work environment aligned with our mission: to delight customers in a way that creates loyalty,” says Adam Crosby, President. “Our team takes pride in being the best at excellent customer service, providing high-quality, fresh, and consistently sudden made to order meals quickly and the empowerment of thorough one-on-one training across our service model promising ‘Great Food in a Flash®” to our customers.
The Great Place To Work Certification® criteria are the global standard for quantifying and benchmarking the employee experience. Certification evaluates workplace culture and trust from the perspective that matters the most, the employee. It offers the most comprehensive picture on the market of the internal health of an organization.
Pal’s holds the distinction as the first restaurant company to earn the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 2001 and has twice won the Tennessee Quality Award. The new Great Places To Work Certification is a result of continuing to follow the Baldrige criteria for excellence to become an ever-stronger company. “The Baldrige framework is how we continue to benchmark ourselves.” says Crosby. “Our focus today is to continuously improve our systems to optimize efficiencies and grow the skills of our team members.”
“I want to thank our employees for their hard work in executing our mission daily and their trust in our organization and congratulations for sharing in this important designation,” Crosby concludes.
The certification comes during Pal’s 70th anniversary year. Founded in Kingsport in 1956, Pal’s has grown to more than 30 locations throughout Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia with more locations actively in development while remaining true to its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
