PINCHO has expanded its menu and catering strategy with the launch of Build Your Own Bowls, a rotating seasonal menu and a rewards program for catering customers.
The Miami-based fast-casual brand said its Build Your Own Bowl platform has generated a sales increase and will serve as a central part of its go-to-market strategy. The customizable format includes ingredients such as beans made daily, house-made sofrito and kebabs seasoned and cooked in-house.
PINCHO is also moving to a rotating seasonal menu designed to introduce additional Latin-inspired flavors and ingredients throughout the year.
The first seasonal item is the Harvest Bowl, or Cosecha Bowl, available through November. It features white rice, Latin-style roasted sweet potatoes, flame-roasted corn, rajas made with grilled poblano peppers and onions, Bravas and aioli sauces, chopped cilantro and the customer’s choice of protein.
The roasted sweet potatoes, rajas and Bravas sauce have also been added to the Build Your Own Bowl customization lineup.
PINCHO is supporting its catering business with an online ordering platform and a tiered rewards program. Customers automatically earn points toward Amazon gift cards on qualifying catering orders, with no enrollment required.
The program includes three earning levels:
- Level 1: Three points per dollar on spending up to $5,000
- Level 2: Four points per dollar on spending up to $10,000
- Level 3: Five points per dollar on spending of $10,001 or more
Every 100 points is equal to $1 in rewards. For example, a $1,000 qualifying order at the five-point level would earn $50 in Amazon gift cards.
A customer’s tier resets 12 months after the first catering rewards order. Rewards apply only to catering-menu purchases, and qualifying spending excludes taxes, tips, fees, discounts and other non-menu charges. Customers receive an email from CateringRewards after checkout with information about viewing and redeeming their points.
