Smalls Sliders, dubbed one of the fastest-growing quick-service concepts of the year, announced a new franchise agreement that will bring an additional five units to Texas. This agreement officially marks the brands third deal in the Lone Star State and first in Dallas, coming just shortly after the brand reached 100 units under development.

This agreement will be carried out by Serendipity Provisions, LLC, the operating group that will bring the five new ‘Cans’ to the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth area. The group brings an extensive background in both the restaurant and franchise industries, and was initially drawn to Smalls Sliders after seeing its rapid success in Baton Rouge and growth across other Southern states. The simplicity and unique modular buildout were key factors in the group’s decision to sign with Smalls Sliders, citing the streamlined model as a major differentiator from other quick-service concepts.

“We were immediately drawn to the distinct branding of Smalls Sliders, as well as their curated menu and ‘let’s do this the right way’ mentality,” says a representative of the group. “Once we met with the Smalls Sliders team, it was clear that this was a brand with the means to really take on nationwide, or even global expansion, and their confidence in the brand was a huge indicator for us that this was the right move. We’re extremely eager to get this process started and bring the Smalls Sliders brand to more communities than ever before.”

Serendipity Provisions, LLC, aims to have their first Can open next year, with a particular focus on the Frisco region. The four locations that will follow after will also be located in the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth area, ideally situated in communities such as Allen and Prosper.

“We’ve had an outstanding year, and so much of our success has been driven by esteemed operators like Serendipity Provisions,” says Maria Rivera, CEO of Smalls Sliders. “Texas is proving itself to be a market with high growth potential, so we’re very eager to begin drop Cans across the state.”

Smalls Sliders opened its first restaurant in 2019 and has since grown to nine Cans throughout Louisiana, with more than 100 locations already in the development pipeline. The restaurant has already garnered industry recognition, with QSR magazine featuring the brand in its “40/40 List for 2022: America’s Hottest Startup Fast Casuals” and its 2023 QSR 50 Contenders list.
