Smalls Sliders, the industry-disrupting cheeseburger slider concept, announced an additional seven Cans coming to Houston. With 50+ Cans under development across the Lone Star State, this agreement is a significant milestone for the brand.

Sumtimes Sliders is the esteemed operating group behind the brand’s most recent deal. With prior experience in the restaurant and franchising industries, the group is confident in their ability to efficiently oversee operations and market the brand to new audiences. Initially drawn to Smalls Sliders for its delicious menu and impressive business model, Sumtimes Sliders is eager to begin the development process.

“The opportunity to join the Smalls Sliders brand was one that we couldn’t pass up,” says a representative from Sumtimes Sliders. “The concept has been rapidly expanding over the last few months and we’ve taken notice. After connecting with the corporate team and seeing the support they offered, we knew this was the right move. We look forward to the journey ahead with excitement and can’t wait to serve and connect with the Northeast Houston community.”

Targeting key cities such as Spring, Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita, Cleveland, Willowbrook and Champions Forest, Sumtimes Sliders aims to have their first Can open by Q4 of 2024, with the following six locations to follow shortly thereafter.

“We are proud to be working with Sumtimes Sliders and look forward to supporting their team as they expand our brand further into Texas,” says Maria Rivera, CEO of Smalls Sliders. “Looking ahead to the rest of the year, we aim to continue facilitating agreements across the nation and maintain the strong growth track that we have been on. I am confident that Sumtimes Sliders will help to elevate the Northeast Houston area through their new restaurants.”

Smalls Sliders opened its first signature ‘Smorange’ colored Can in 2019. Since its inception, Smalls Sliders has disrupted the QSR industry with its stacked leadership team and robust development pipeline, furthering its rapid growth trajectory with more than 160 Cans open or under development. The brand continues to garner high-level industry recognition, with QSR Magazine ranking the brand in its annual QSR 50 Contenders list. Other accolades include ranking on Entrepreneur magazine’s “Top New & Emerging Franchises” list in 2023.
