The arrival of Snappy Salads to the Houston market was an obvious lucky charm for the Houston Astros, giving away free salads to Astros fans during the World Series. Snappy Salads wants to keep the momentum going by supporting the Houston Rockets on their road to an NBA title the same way. Snappy Salads will give away a free salad on game days at its two Houston locations (1920 Fountain View Drive and 19111 Katy Freeway) to fans wearing Rockets apparel.
Rockets-adorned fans will receive a free menu salad (officially called a “Half Snap”). Guests can choose from the best-selling Grilled Avocado Salad, Bam Bam, make-your-nose-run Texas Taco Salad, or any other menu salad with a value of up to $10.50.
“Snappy Salads is thrilled to be in the sports-centric city of Houston,” said Chris Dahlander, founder. “We love being part of the excitement and having the community come together to support our teams.”
The Houston Rockets are facing the Minnesota Timberwolves in a best-of-seven series that began April 15. Game three is scheduled for Saturday, April 21. Game four is scheduled for Monday, April 23. A possible three additional games will be played in the series.
Snappy Salads will open a third Houston location in early May at 1000 S. Main Street in the underground tunnels. Fans can follow Snappy Salads on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to stay up-to-date on current offers and promotions.
