Cousins Subs is excited to announce the return of its semi-annual Round Up Campaign benefiting the Make It Better Foundation, the brand’s nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting health and wellness, hunger and youth education in local communities.
Throughout October, guests can support the Make It Better Foundation by rounding up their purchase at checkout. Contributions made through the campaign help fund grants and programs that strengthen communities throughout Wisconsin.
“Every dollar our guests contribute has the power to make a real impact in the neighborhoods we serve,” said Christine Specht, CEO of Cousins Subs. “We are inspired by the generosity of our communities and proud that, together, we can help improve lives and make every day a little better.”
The impact of those contributions can already be seen through the Make It Better Foundation’s most recent grant cycle. In the third quarter of 2026, the Foundation awarded $11,000 to five Wisconsin nonprofit organizations supporting youth education, hunger, health and wellness, veterans and families in need.
Grant recipients include:
- Bernie’s Book Bank – $2,500: Supporting the expansion of its book distribution program in Greater Milwaukee, helping provide free, high-quality books to children in under-resourced communities and build at-home libraries. The organization distributes books directly to children through schools, early learning centers and other community partners.
- Blessed on Purpose – $2,500: Supporting its Pathways to College Tour, which provides mentorship, college and career exposure and essential resources to high school girls from under-resourced Milwaukee-area communities.
- HeadsUp Fox Cities – $2,500: Helping provide nutritious food and basic-needs support to young adults transitioning from foster care as they work toward greater stability and independence. The organization serves young adults in Winnebago, Outagamie and Calumet counties through transitional housing, mentorship and community-based support.
- Patriot Riders of America WI Chapter 2 – $2,500: Supporting Wisconsin active-duty military members, veterans and their families through programs that provide assistance with needs including housing, medical expenses and personal support.
- Shelter From the Storm Ministries – $1,000: Supporting its Mothers for Moms program, which assists homeless single mothers and their children in Sun Prairie and surrounding communities as they work toward self-sufficiency and a more stable future.
Since the Make It Better Foundation was established in 2013, Cousins Subs has donated more than $1.4 million to local nonprofit organizations, funded college scholarships, provided nutritious meals to those in need and invested in programs that promote community health and wellness.
Guests can round up their purchase at checkout throughout October to support the Make It Better Foundation.
