While other sandwich chains are introducing scaled-down options to reach a lower price, Bread Zeppelin is keeping its Chicken Caesar combo exactly the size guests know and charging less for it. From Oct. 21-28, guests at participating Dallas-Fort Worth locations can get the Chicken Caesar Zeppelin combo for $2 less than the usual $9.99.

The promotion follows the Oct. 12 rollout of Jersey Mike’s $7.99 Mini Bundle, which features a smaller cold sub and a bag of chips. Bread Zeppelin is matching that price and upping the protein — its Caesar packs 41 grams, roughly 128% more than the 18-gram minimum Jersey Mike’s reports for those sandwiches.

“I’m a Jersey Mike’s fan. I’ve got the rewards account to prove it,” said co-founder Troy Charhon. “But I’ll put our deal up against theirs any day. We know many of our neighbors are being more mindful of how they spend their hard-earned money. We want to give them something they can feel good about choosing, without having to compromise on quality or value.”

The build features their full-sized toasted baguette, cored out and loaded with romaine, Parmesan, Caesar dressing and chicken marinated and grilled in-house, never frozen — also available as a salad bowl. Even the croutons have a backstory. They’re housemade from the bread cores pulled during prep, so nothing goes to waste.

“When we sat down to put this offer together, making the Zeppelin smaller never even came up,” said co-founder Andrew Schoellkopf. “Same delicious baguette, same grilled chicken, same 41 grams of protein. We’d rather just charge less for it and let our guests taste for themselves what all the hype is about.”
