Buffalo Wild Wings®, Inc. (NASDAQ: BWLD) today announced the opening of its 500th restaurant, a franchised location in Grand Blanc, Michigan.

Buffalo Wild Wings first opened its doors in 1982 in Columbus, Ohio next to The Ohio State University campus. The company was founded by Scott Lowery and Jim Disbrow. Buffalo Wild Wings began trading on the NASDAQ in November 2003. Its locations are two-thirds franchised, one-third company-owned.

The Grand Blanc Buffalo Wild Wings opened on Sunday, March 16th at 11am and celebrated the 500th designation with cake and by giving 500 prizes to guests. The store is located at 8251 Trillium Circle Avenue Suite 102, Grand Blanc, MI 48439.
