El Pollo Loco, the nation’s leading restaurant for citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chicken, announced a community grand opening celebration for its second Albuquerque restaurant, located at 3811 Ellison Dr NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114.
While the restaurant officially opens today, September 16, El Pollo Loco is inviting the community to celebrate the new restaurant with a special grand opening event on Friday, September 25. The celebration begins at 11:00 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside the Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, followed by music from a local radio from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to keep the energy and excitement going.
To celebrate, the first 50 guests will receive a FREE* Pollo Bowl, chips, and a large fountain drink. Guests also may enter for the chance to win $250 cash from the restaurant’s builder, Archmill House. The party continues later in the day from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. when the restaurant will offer a FREE 2-Piece Chicken Leg & Thigh Meal for in-store guests**, with no purchase necessary, while supplies last.
El Pollo Loco’s 2-Piece Chicken Leg & Thigh Meal features two pieces of the company’s legendary fire-grilled chicken, a leg and thigh, grilled low over an open flame. The meal includes a side of seasoned rice, made in-house using enriched long-grain rice with a savory blend of tomatoes and spices, along with Pinto Beans simmered with chopped serrano peppers for a subtle kick.
Operated by Ashim Chopra, CEO of CB Pollo NM 1, the new Albuquerque restaurant marks the franchise group’s fourth El Pollo Loco location, and second in the region.
