In celebration of National Smoothie Day, Friday marks the opening of the first “new” Jamba location inside the brand new retail wing at The Mall at Green Hills in Nashville, Tennessee.
Earlier this month, the brand formerly known as Jamba Juice announced a complete brand refresh, shortening its name to Jamba to reflect its expanded menu that features smoothies, juices, and bowls, etc. In addition, the 30-year old brand is getting a new store design and fresh aesthetic at all locations.
The Mall at Green Hills Jamba will be a co-branded location with pretzel-leader and sister brand, Auntie Anne’s, offering customers a variety of made-to-order treats with high quality ingredients. Both brands fall under the FOCUS Brands umbrella. FOCUS provides Jamba and its franchisees with best practices and shared resources that are essential to compete in this market. The result yields a long-term competitive advantage that is far greater than what Jamba would produce as a separate entity.
The iconic brand has plans to convert all 774-plus existing locations while continuing with aggressive expansion.
